IFA Office Manager

Due to continued client need, additional headcount and expansion across the group, our client is now seeking to hire an Office Manager to oversee the day to day running and smooth operation for one of their regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling escalated client experience issues
- Ensure that all client requests and related tasks are dealt with professionally and effectively, delivering a positive experience for clients.
- Working in partnership with HR to instil a culture and discipline of performance management, setting clear performance objectives, where team members are regularly encouraged and appraised on their performance, highlighting, and celebrating excellence, identifying strengths and addressing under performance.
- Act as escalation point for all staff and assist managers to help them identify issues.
- Awareness of operational, regulatory and conduct risk, which may impact on the business.
- Responsible for reporting to their line manager any risk which may impact on the business.
- Ensuring all back-office systems and procedures are kept up to date and that staff are using systems effectively.
- Management of staff workloads and task management day to day
- Delivering training on processes and procedures for internal data management
- Management of office facilities
- Ensuring regular communications are maintained with internal and external stakeholders including the management of logistics for these.
- Line managing support staff
Knowledge & Experience
- An individual who possesses experience working as an Office Manager within an Independent Financial Advisers
- Assist in collation of key data and management information and be able to present back in required format
- Experience dealing with third party providers
- Proven experience within Financial Services
- Line Manager experience
- Confidential, reliable, and trustworthy
- Ability to influence, persuade and build good relationships with people at all levels of the business.
- Self-motivation, resilience and a clear focus on attention to detail and high-quality output
- Ability to work collaboratively with the first line manager colleagues and build strong relationships and networks
- Excellent organisational skills and able to adapt to changing priorities with strong time management skills and positive outlook
- Understanding and knowledge of Compliance requirements and FCA guidelines
